IRMA 2010 NOTIFICATION

The notification  for the  course of  Post  Graduate  in Rural Management  (PRM)  2011-2013 and Fellow  programme  in  Rural  Management  (FPRM) offered  by Institute  of  Rural Management, Anand  is released with following details.

DATE OF  TEST

14th November, 2010 (Sunday) (9:15 am to 12:15 pm)

DETAILS OF  THE TEST

The written  test  on 14th November will be for admission to PRM 2011-2013 program of IRMA. The test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English language). The final selection will be on the basis of written test, group discussion and interview.

The  written  test  common  for  all the  programs of   IRMA  i.e.  PRM  2011-13  and  FPRM  2011 (Fellowship  program)  will   be held  at  27 centres  across India  which are  Anand,  Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pantnagar, Patna, Pune, Raipur, Rajkot, Ranchi,  Thiruvananthapuram, Udaipur, Varanasi  and Vijayawada.  Based on the marks of  Written  Test,  a limited  number of  candidates  will  be invited  for second phase  of  selection process comprising Group Discussion and Interview.

ELIGIBILITY FOR PRM

The essential eligibility conditions are enumerated below.

• Graduates in any discipline with a minimum of  15 years (10+2+3) of  education and having 50% (45% for SC/ST/PwD) aggregate marks or an equivalent  GPA from a recognized Indian or foreign university/ institution are eligible to apply.
• Candidates, who expect to fulfill the  eligibility requirements before June 06, 2011 may also apply.
• Only Indian nationals are eligible to apply.
  
  

RESERVATION

Seats  are  reserved  as  per Government of India rules. The reservations are subject to candidates meeting the admission requirement  of the Institute under different  categories.

HOW TO  APPLY

An applicant can opt for one of  the following options:

1. Apply online and pay through payment gateway.
2. Take a printout of SBI challan available in IRMA website in the admission link. Make payment at any branch of SBI by using the challan. SBI would then issue a unique ID number. This unique ID number is to be used to apply online through IRMA website.
3. Printed application material (prospectus, application forms, etc.) may be obtained from Admissions office, IRMA, Anand – 388001 on payment of  full fees.

Prospectus and sample  question  papers will  be sent to the candidates  opting  for options  1 or 2 after  their  applications  are received  at IRMA.  It is  compulsory  for all applicants  to send a hard copy of application form to Admissions office, IRMA, Anand – 388001, Gujarat.

Those applicants, who are using option 2, are  required to attach SBI challan with theapplication form.
