The Reading Comprehension passage was based on “Water conservation”. The questions were tricky and at times it was difficult to pick the right options. The maximum number of questions that can be attempted from this passage could be 8-10.The questions on Para jumbles were a little confusing and the options were close. The close test was easy on account of the familiar words and theme. Overall this was an Easy-Moderate section. The cut-off for this section is expected to be around 22-24 with the potential to score around 25-27 by allocating around 30 minutes for this section.

The questions on Arithmetic were very easy and were based on the straight forward application of formula. They were mainly from Percentage, ratio and Partnerships. Data Interpretation questions were from Table, Pie Charts and Combination Graphs. There were 4 sets out of which at least 3 were easy. The Venn diagram set on languages was easy .The operation based questions mainly focused on Calculations.The cut-off for this section is expected to be around 24-26 with the potential to score around 30-32 by allocating around 30 minutes for this section.
The questions were mainly from Selections and Arrangements, Coding-Decoding and Series Completion, Statements and Assumptions and Inferential reasoning. The Critical Reasoning questions which were around 25 were on the tougher side taken mainly from true false types, drawing conclusions from paragraph, Cause and Effect. The Logical Reasoning set on Soft Drink was easy. The Data sufficiency questions required basic reasoning concepts and should have been attempted. Overall this was a moderate level section. The cut-off for this section is expected to be around 23-25 with the potential to score around 30-32 by allocating around 35 minutes for this section.
This section has always been the key to determining whether one gets a call from IRMA or not. The section had 60 questions with heavy emphasis on Economics, followed by focus on Government schemes. This section was a little tough as compared to last year. The cut-off for this section is expected to be around 20-22.The time allocation could be around 25 minutes.
The overall level of the paper was on the medium side and scores and cut-offs are expected to go lower this time as compared to last year. Below is presented the summary of the above analysis.
